What is your hometown and what did you love the most about it?
Moline, Illinois is my hometown but I moved to Phoenix at a very young age. So I guess my favorite thing about Moline is that I have no memory of it ever hitting 100 degrees.
What was the first CD you ever bought?
The Karate Kid Soundtrack
What is the best concert you have ever been to?
Zeds's True Colors Tour. Madean & 3LAU were there. It was magical.
If you could pick the theme song to your life what would it be?
I'd love if every time I walked into a room, Childish Gambino's "Sweatpants" played.
What is your favorite thing about your job/career?
It keeps me on my toes. I never do the same job twice. It's always something new, which is very exciting!
If you could trade lives with one person for a day who would it be?
If you could meet and have dinner with anyone from the past or present who would it be and why?
Tharon Musser. She was a broadway lighting designer during the second half of the 20th century. Her designs won Tonys, Drama Desk Awards, and gave her the title "Dean of American Lighting Designers". 100% the kind of woman I'd love to have dinner with.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
I've always wanted to see Daft Punk perform live. Fingers crossed they decide to tour again before I kick it.
Who or what inspires you?
There's this Walk The Moon song called 'Work This Body'. One of the lines in the song is "It ain't no matter of if, honey, it's just a matter of when". The song and that line in particular inspire me to always push forward.
Who do you admire and why?
My beautiful mother. She raised me to be strong, know who I am, and never be afraid of a challenge. She never had to tell me that I could do a nothing I set my heart to, because it was very clear that the opposite wasn't a possibility.
